Essential Oils and Weight Loss Answer: Slim & Sassy

Can essential oils help with weight loss? Definitely! Certain essential oils can be beneficial for weight loss because they can help to control your appetite, boost your metabolism, and minimize your desire to eat excess calories.

A big benefit to using essential oils to help with weight loss is the fact that weight gain and over-eating is often closely related to emotional issues… and the high frequency of quality essential oils can help to balance the mood and reduce the emotional aspects that make you want to over-eat. So, using essential oils can help you get to the ROOT of a weight loss issue (i.e. emotional eating), instead of simply treating a symptom (i.e. eating too much chocolate).

I have such a sweet tooth, and I have found a lot of benefit by using essential oils to get rid of my sugar cravings. If I am using specific essential oils on a regular basis, then I am more successful at avoiding the chocolate and other sweet treats.

Application:

Internally- Mix 8 oz. glass of water with 3-5 drops Slim & Sassy essential oil blend, drink throughout the day between meals. Or add a few drops of essential oils to a capsule and swallow it down several times a day.

Aromatically- Diffuse into the air, breathe normally. Apply to a tissue or handkerchief, inhale and breathe when needed.

Topically- Can also be applied topically to the skin. Note: citrus essential oils that may increase photosensitivity in the skin, it is recommended that you avoid sunlight or UV rays for up to 12 hours after topical application.

Hi Becky, I recently started with slim and sassy, about a month now, and I drip four to five drops on my tongue and swallow a glass of water. Is this any less useful than putting it in water and sipping on it? Also how much of this should I take a day? Can I over do it? Thanks for your answers, Stacy

Hi Stacy, that’s awesome to hear that you have been using Slim and Sassy! I don’t think it matters whether you put the oil directly in your mouth or in the water… the main thing is to be sure that it is getting into your body. I try to use it several times a day, and recommendations that I have heard range anywhere from 3-5 times per day.

What do you recommend for applying S & S to problems areas of the skin? Mix with Grapefruit and coconut oil? How many drops S & S and Grapefruit per Tbs of oil? Thanks!
